BIOREMEDIATION. With interfaces to the MT3DMS, RT3D, and SEAM3D models, GMSnow has the most comprehensive suite of tools available for modelling Natural Attenuation and Bioremediation scenarios. Track and display degradation of and interaction of multiple contaminant species. Support built-in and user-defined reactions.
CALIBRATION TOOLS. GMS includes a suite of tools to aid in model calibration. Observed heads with confidence values can be defined at observation point. When a computed solution is imported into GMS, the residual error is plotted on a calibration target at each point, and a variety of plots can be generated showing calibration statistics.
Modular Design
Buy only the modules you need-Add more capability as required
MODFLOW. GMS includes the best MODFLOW interface in the industry Models can be defined and edited at the conceptual model level or an a cell-by-cell basis at the grid level. All model parameters are easily defined. All popular packages are supported. Creating sophisticated multi-layered models has never been easier.
MODPATH. Using the MODFLOW solution, a particle tracking analysis can be performed with MODPATH, MODPATH can compute capture zones for wells and estimate contaminant travel times.
MT3DMS. The recently upgraded MT3DMS model can be used to perform contaminant transport simulations using multiple species. The latest version includes both implicit and explicit solvers to achieve accurate and timely solutions. MT3DMS also includes dual porosity and sorption option.
TT3D. RT3D an extension of MT3DMS used to simulate reactive transport and is ideal for numerous bioremediation and attenuation problems. Several pre-defined reaction packages are available, and there is also an option for building user-defined reactions.
GEOSTATISTICS. The powerful geostatistical tools in GMS are even better in this release. The Kriging routines now include zonal, directional, and indicator options for greater flexibility. These tools can be used to generate contour or isosurface plots of existing contaminant plumes or to set up model parameters such as starting head/conductivity maps.
