EnviroScape 3-D tabletop models are peer-reviewed and can be used at all levels of education—university and adult audiences through elementary levels. EnviroScape II and its Add-ons are powerful tools to demonstrate and compare major environmental scenarios—how pollution occurs, how prevent it, and how to clean it up Used by environmental educators, consultant, community group, nature centers, soil and water conservation districts, municipalities, and Federal and State Agencies worldwide, the models currently available are EnviroScape II (runoff), wetlands, Hazardous Waste, a Groundwater Component and a Riparian Kit. EnviroScape Ladfill is due for release shortly followed by the Coastal and Urban models, EnviroScape models can be used both in formal education setting be corporate and business planners, public planners, and environmental outreach programs.
Approximately 25”x35”x5”; each depicts a community and is accompanied by a user’s guide with step-by-step instruction and resources including suggestions on creating demonstrations. They are flexible in fitting with existing programs or they can be used as stand-alone curricle. EnviroScape models come as complete (Deluxe) units or as Add-ons to the EnviroScape II model. All a models include a user’s guide and kit containing everything you need for demonstrations such as buildings, bridges, vehicles, tress, and best management practice props. The carrying case with wheels is optional.
The Groundwater Component fits in the EnviroScape base and can be used with all EnviroScape models to teach the basics of groundwater use, contamination and its prevention. It illustrates unsaturated, saturated, and bedrock layers, and includes an abandoned well private wells with pups and a user’s guide.
