AquiferTEST
Résumé :
Fast and easy Graphical Analysis and Reporting of Pumping Test and Slug Test Data
AquiferTest is the fastest and easiest software package for analyzing and reporting pumping test and slug results. It is the first pumping test and slug test analysis software package to combine an intuitive and intelligent Windows interface for convention data entry, with graphical data analysis tools, and report quality graphical output capabilities.
About the Interface
The familiar Windows-based environment of AquiferTest makes it very easy to operate, even for first-time users. Handing of the various functions of AquiferTest is facilitated by intuitive icons and comprehensive on-line help instructions. The interface is structured in a logical and easy-to-follow sequence for preparing and analyzing pumping test data:
(1) Input the pumping well and monitoring well(s) information,
(2) (2) Enter/import water level data, and
(3) Analyze the data using any life of the applicable analysis methods
Selecting Units: AquiferTest features a complete selection of units for handling either English or Metric System. The flexible unit conversion features also allows you to easily switch the units for any project at any time.
Entering Data: The illustrative and interactive data entry forms make entering the data very easy. Data can also be easily cut –and-pasted from a variety of file formats including Excel (xls), comma-separated values (csv) and ASCII text (txt).
Data Logger Import:
AquiferTest contains an easy-to-use data import utility for obtaining water level measurements from data logger files. The built-in data filter is very useful for removing unnecessary points based in a minimum time-change or head-change criterion.
Multiple Observation Wells:
AquiferTest easily handles any number of observation wells and unlimited dat points at each monitoring location.
Analysis Methods
AquiferTest includes a comprehensive selection of classic and recent analysis methods for estimating the transmissivity, storativity and conductivity of confined, , unconfined, leaky and fractured rock aquifers.
 Theis, Hantush and Neuman
 Cooper Jacob (time-drawdown)
 Cooper-Jacob (distance-drawdown)
 Cooper-Jacob (time-dist,-drawdown)
 Moench (partially penetrating well)
 Theis-Jacob recovery test
 Thees and Copper-Jacob step tests
 Well performance test
 Hvorslev slug test
 Bouwer-Rice slug test
Curve Fitting: AquiferTest allows the user to use either manual curve fitting or automatic curve fitting methods.
Multiples Type-Curves: for multiple type-curve solution techniques, AquiferTest allows you to select and plot customized type-curve for more accurately fitting the data to any type curve value.
Graphical Analysis and Reporting
Graphical and tabular reports of the pumping test and slug test data and results can be produced in seven different languages. The title blocks for the output are customizable and allow a bitmap of the company log to be displayed. Comments and additional project description can also added.
Documentation
AquiferTest with a comprehensive user’s manual and step-by-step, tutorial guide to get you started. Technical support is available via phone, fax and e-mail
